The first few days of preparation, Liz removed the carpets so that we could start the painting and for the next few days that's what Karl, Liz and I did. Thanks to Rita next door for the loan of the table and chairs which made things much more comfortable during the preparation.
On Sunday Mum & Dad popped with Sue to see how things were going and then went on to celebrate Isabelle's birthday celebrations.
Then on Monday it was time for the new carpets to be laid and more decorating.
Tuesday it was time to update the bathroom and paint all those corners in the smallest room.
And finally the move in and unpacking.
And again Dad had a play on the newly installed piano.

There was more to do when I left on Friday afternoon after the move, but a large number of boxes were emptied and finding their place and things were settling down.
